THE BIDDING SO FAR
YOUR HAND
Your call. Three ways to bid this are defensible and one is right, and which one it is has nothing to do with whether the contract would have made.

THE PROBLEM
There is a reason, and it isn't effort. Results are the worst teacher in bridge, full stop. A sound bid that goes two down looks exactly like a reckless one. A wild punt that happens to land looks like pure genius. The cards decided the result; your judgment only decided the call, and nothing at the table separates the two for you.
So you collect outcomes and call it experience. Ten thousand of them, and they taught you very little about which of your calls were actually sound. Meanwhile the player across the room who learned in a good partnership got something you didn't: somebody who could look at the call and say that was wrong, and here is why, on the hands that made and the hands that didn't.
THE ANSWER
Every hand stops at the one call that decides it. You make that call, and Bridge Sense tells you on the spot whether it was right, judged by the rules of the system you play, not by how the cards happened to lie. A good bid stays a good bid whether or not it would have made.
Then it tells you why: what partner had already promised, what the other reasonable calls would have said, and how your hand fits. The feedback a strong partner gives you at the table, on every single hand.

HOW IT WORKS
The auction is bid for you up to the one call the hand turns on. Nobody needs help opening 1♠ with fourteen points, so you are not asked. You are asked the question the hand was chosen for.
A real bidding box showing only what is legal from where the auction stands. No multiple choice, no hint about which answer is the interesting one. You have to actually decide.
Not whether it worked but whether it was right. What partner promised, what each defensible alternative would have shown, and where your hand fell short of it. Then the next one.
THE OTHER MODE
Practice gives you every turn, from your first call to the last, with the same explanation after each one. Useful once you know which decisions you want to drill.

QUESTIONS
BEHIND THE SYSTEM
Bridge Sense is a product of passion and a lifetime of research on bidding systems.
I have won many of India's major tournaments, the Tolani Open, the Maharashtra Open and the CCI among them, and played for India at a world championship. I moved to the USA and became a US citizen, and a team with a US citizen cannot represent India in the Bermuda Bowl.
I'm concerned that the game is shrinking. Fewer players every year, and the standard slipping with them. It should not take a lifetime to learn to bid well. What most players never get is someone with real expertise telling them why a call was wrong.
Bridge Sense comes out of years of discussion with my OG buddies: J.M. Shah, Kailash Khubchandani, Ashok Vaidya, Anil Padhye, Ravi Dudhane, Girish Moorthy, Vijay Phaterphekar and many more. Many are legends of the game, with genius level understanding of bridge, and have represented India many times in international events.
