Terms of Use

1

Acceptance of these terms

Bridge Sense is a product of Realitics Inc. ("Realitics," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Bridge Sense, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2

What Bridge Sense is

Bridge Sense is a bridge bidding coaching tool. You play the South seat in a scripted, full auction; correctness at each turn is determined by a deterministic lookup against a curated deal, and an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) generates a written explanation of the judgment behind the correct call once it's already known. Claude never decides what's correct: it only explains it.

The explanations and reference material on this site are for bridge education and practice. They're not a substitute for instruction from a certified bridge teacher, and we don't guarantee they cover every partnership agreement or every school of bidding judgment.

3

Access and accounts

You can use Bridge Sense without an account, subject to a daily free-hand limit. Signing in (with Google or an email link) keeps that limit consistent across your devices. We may grant some accounts unlimited access at our discretion; access levels can change.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

4

Plans and billing

Bridge Sense is free to use up to a daily limit. A paid plan removes that limit: the Monthly plan is $14 per month and the Annual plan $120 per year, in US dollars. Prices include any applicable sales tax or VAT: what you see is what you pay. Prices are shown on the pricing section of our home page before you buy.

Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the same price, until cancelled. You may cancel a plan at any time; cancelling stops the next renewal, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and your account remains with the free daily allowance. We will give notice by email before any price change takes effect.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as merchant of record and authorised reseller of Bridge Sense. Paddle handles billing, tax and payment details, and its name appears on your statement. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside these terms.

Refunds and cancellation are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, spider, bulk-download, or systematically extract deals, auctions, explanations, bidding rules, reference material, or any other content, by any means, whether manual or automated
  • Use any automated system: including bots, scripts, headless browsers, or AI agents, to access the service other than a search engine obeying our robots directives
  • Use any content from Bridge Sense to train, fine-tune, evaluate, ground, retrieve into, or otherwise develop or improve any machine learning model, language model, or artificial intelligence system, whether or not the output is distributed
  • Create derivative works from our bidding system, rule set, deal library, or written explanations, including by paraphrasing, translating, restructuring, or having a model rewrite them
  • Attempt to circumvent the daily free-hand limit, sign-in requirements, or any other access control
  • Share, resell, or republish member-only material, including the competitive bidding reference
  • Reverse engineer the grading logic in a way intended to misrepresent your own results
  • Use the service, or anything derived from it, to build or improve a competing product
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service's normal operation

These restrictions apply to anyone acting on your behalf, including any agent or model you direct. Access by an automated system is access by you.

6

Intellectual property

Contract bridge as a game, and standard bidding terminology and conventions, belong to no one. We claim nothing over Standard American, 2/1 Game Force, or any published convention, and our references to them are open to everyone for that reason.

What is ours is the specific expression and arrangement: the deal library and the curation behind it, the written explanations attached to every call, the particular thresholds, orderings and judgements that make up our competitive method, the site design, and the software. These are owned by Realitics Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Member-only material is disclosed to members for their own use and remains confidential; access does not grant any licence to copy, redistribute, or build from it.

7

No warranty

Bridge Sense is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated explanations will always be perfectly phrased or complete. Bidding judgment in real bridge sometimes involves legitimate disagreement between experts and partnership agreements: treat this as a practice and teaching tool, not an infallible authority.

8

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Realitics Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Bridge Sense.

9

Changes

We may update the service or these terms as Bridge Sense develops (for example, if declarer play or new plan features are added). We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms or misuses the service.
